Gettysburg will once again host the MDCHA playoffs at the historic Hershey Park arena.
Built in 1936 the HersheyPark Arena has been home to the AHL affiliate Hershey Bears, until 2002 with the opening of their new facility the Giant Center. Rich with hockey history, HersheyPark arena holds 7,500 fans and will provide a perfect atmosphere for the 2010-2011 Mason Dixon Conference Playoffs as it did for the 2007-08 playoffs.
The playoffs will be held February 11-13 with first round games being held at 3:30pm and 9:30pm Friday night. Saturdays Semi-finals will be held at 4:30pm and 7:15pm. The championship game will be held on Sunday at 11:00am.
Gettysburg College is the host of this year's playoffs and will be asking for volunteers to help collect money at the gate. For a brief history and information on HersheyPark Arena, please visit their website.
