MDCHA PLAYOFF UPDATE

Due to weather, there are a few updates to the MDCHA Playoffs

Thanks for everyone's patience as we tried to deal with weather conditions and work through the availibility of the rink, certain teams, and the referees.

1) They are trying to plow the rink parking lot today. If it is bad, you can park at WalMart and walk down. The rink manager thought that it should be passable.

2) The referees are on board! We appreciate the efforts that they are making.

3) UMD is unable to play their game tonight because of school rules. There are no classes at UMD, so there are no activities as well. I spent time talking with Chris Coggin and this is very unfortunate. However, altering the schedule left us with more difficulties. This means that the second game tonight is cancelled and Hopkins moves on to the semi-finals on Saturday.

So, here is the schedule:

Friday, February 12

Game 1 (6:15-8:35) Gettysburg (home) vs. Mount St. Mary's (visitor)
CANCELLED Game 2 (8:45-11:05) Hopkins (home) vs. Maryland (visitor) CANCELLED

Saturday, February 13

League Meeting is at 10:30 am

Game 3 (1:00-3:20) American (home) vs. winner of Game 1 (visitor)
Game 4 (5:00-7:20) Dickinson (home) vs. Hopkins (visitor)

Sunday, February 14

Game 5 (9:45 am-12:05) winner of Game 3 vs. winner of Game 4 (highest point total/seed is home team)
